We focused on creating an application that would allow users to easily create custom meal plans by providing them access to thousands of recipes. Throughout this report you will find details about our project including requirements, design decisions made during development process as well as testing strategies employed to ensure high quality code was produced at all times. ## Project Details The project was completed over a period of two weeks. During this time we worked closely together as team members communicating effectively throughout entire process ensuring everyone was up-to-date with latest changes made to code base. Our main goal was not only developing functional software but also making sure it was easy-to-use interface which would provide best possible experience for end-users. We used Scrum framework during development process which allowed us break down larger tasks into smaller ones called "user stories". Each user story had specific acceptance criteria that needed fulfilled before considered complete. ## Requirements Our product vision statement was clear from start: "Create an application that will allow users create custom meal plans easily by providing access thousands of recipes". To achieve this goal we identified stakeholders involved including end-users who would ultimately benefit from our product as well marketing department responsible promoting it. We also defined non-functional requirements such usability performance maintainability portability etc. which helped guide development process ensuring final product met expectations set forth by stakeholders. Finally we outlined system features required implementing necessary functionality within application including login page main page meal plan creator recipe accessor etc. ## Design Decisions During design phase we created architecture diagrams module diagrams class diagrams sequence diagrams etc. which helped visualize overall structure implementation details relationships between various components. Architecture diagram showed high level overview system components interactions while module diagram broke down individual modules comprising entire system along with their responsibilities dependencies etc. Class diagram provided detailed representation classes objects used within system highlighting relationships between them whereas sequence diagram illustrated step-by-step interactions taking place during execution flow. These visual aids proved invaluable during development process helping us make informed decisions regarding architecture design implementation details etc. ## Implementation Implementation phase involved writing actual code using programming language chosen Java Spring Boot Framework. We followed Test Driven Development approach writing unit tests before implementing functionality ensuring code met requirements specified earlier during requirements gathering phase. Throughout implementation phase we adhered principles such Single Responsibility Principle Open/Closed Principle Liskov Substitution Principle Interface Segregation Principle Dependency Inversion Principle which helped keep codebase clean organized modular easy-to-maintain scalable future-proofed against changes unforeseen challenges might arise later down road. We also utilized Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins Travis CI CircleCI automated testing deployment processes ensuring every change committed repository underwent thorough testing before being merged production branch guaranteeing high quality software delivered end-users every single time. ## Testing And Quality Assurance Testing played crucial role ensuring software met requirements expectations stakeholders satisfied end-users received bug-free stable reliable product capable handling real-world scenarios gracefully without crashing failing unexpectedly under stress loads etc. We conducted various types tests including unit integration acceptance performance load security usability accessibility compliance tests verifying functionality performance reliability security usability accessibility compliance standards regulations relevant industry best practices etc. To facilitate effective testing automation tools frameworks like JUnit Mockito Selenium TestNG were employed enabling efficient efficient consistent reliable reproducible results minimizing human error potential introducing bias subjective judgment variables affecting outcomes reliability validity conclusions drawn based upon them.
